EmblemHealth is proud to partner with My Advocate, a service of Altegra Health. Through My Advocate, we provide programs that can help eligible Medicare beneficiaries to save money on their monthly Part B premium and prescription drugs.
Finding and applying for assistance programs on your own can be a very complicated, frustrating, and overwhelming process. My Advocate has dedicated advocates who will guide you through the process by completing and submitting the forms to the appropriate New York State agency for you so you can receive these cost savings.
My Advocate also helps eligible members enroll in a variety of community-based programs which offer prescription drug discounts, energy and nutrition assistance and telephone discounts, to name a few.
There are currently more than 1,300 public and privately-sponsored social programs available in New York State. These programs will help you save money, enrich your life, improve your well-being, and connect you to resources in your own community. My Advocate helps bring much needed relief from some of the financial and social challenges a growing number of seniors and disabled individuals face throughout the country.
Taking advantage of the My Advocate services is a smart way to manage your health and well-being. Learning if you may qualify for assistance programs is quick and easy. There is no cost for you to apply for these programs, and your health plan benefits will not be affected.
