EmblemHealth Ranks Among Top 10 Insurance Companies
EmblemHealth is pleased to announce its inclusion in Insure.com's list of Top 10 Health Insurance Companies for 2014. Our ranking reflects the results of a national customer satisfaction study, in which 3,835 insurance customers and 9,585 companies answered questions about their insurer's performance in the following categories:
- Customer service
- Claims satisfaction
- Value for price paid
- Percent who plan to renew
- Percent who would recommend the company
The results reported that 70 percent of EmblemHealth customers would recommend our services to a friend and 90 percent planned to renew their coverage with EmblemHealth. Among the reasons customers cited for originally deciding to choose EmblemHealth were our reputation, value offered, affordability, market presence and trusted recommendations.
Bigger Isn't Always Better
Since EmblemHealth prides itself on being New York’s health and wellness company, another encouraging finding from the study was that neither Aetna nor Cigna, both national insurance carriers, secured a spot in the top 10.
