Physician Group Practices
Large groups can take advantage of a network-only, referral-free plan – CompreHealth EPO – that features our stream-lined Metro network, that includes both physician group practices (PGP) and individual practitioners.
The PGPs provide members access to hundreds of quality primary care physicians and specialists located in medical group offices near where they live and work. Committed to quality care and convenience, the groups deliver coordinated care with primary care physicians and key specialists like OB/GYNs, cardiology and ophthalmology all in one building. Each offers same day sick appointments, same day or reasonable access to PCP appointments and extended hours with on-site lab and radiology departments. Care is further coordinated with the use of Electronic Medical Records, where medical information can be accessed regardless of medical office location. The PGPs are affiliated with some of the top hospitals including Lenox Hill, North Shore Long Island Jewish, Montefiore Health System, Mt. Sinai, Methodist and Maimonides, ensuring that members get the care they need, when they need it.
