Opportunities for EHR Subsidies Ending Soon

Several opportunities to receive federal subsidies for the adoption of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems: Find out if you are eligible to take advantage of these opportunities to adopt an EHR for your practice.

Interboro RHIO
The Interboro Regional Health Information Organization (RHIO) subsidy available to physicians in certain areas of Queens and Northern Brooklyn is scheduled to end on July 31st 2010. Information about the Interboro RHIO is available here.

NYC REACH
The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene program, Primary Care Information Project and the Fund for Public Health in New York have partnered to open NYC REACH, the Regional Electronic Adoption Center for Health. NYC REACH is the only federally approved Regional Extension Center in our area. Additional information about adopting EHRs for your practice and joining REACH is available. REACH also explains the “meaningful use” criteria required to access federal subsidies.
