Members of GHI and HIP Plans Will Now Use
Beginning October 15, 2011, your clients' members enrolled in GHI- and HIP-branded plans who previously accessed self-service features on www.ghi.com or www.hipusa.com will be automatically redirected to www.emblemhealth.com, where they can access all of the same self-service tools and much more.
We have worked hard to make this transition as easy and seamless as possible. Over the summer, we sent e-mails and posted Web banners inviting members to "test drive" the site and familiarize themselves with its features. What's more, registered members of GHI- and HIP-branded planscan use their current login to access www.emblemhealth.com, where they'll enjoy the same easy access to their plan and benefits information that they currently have on www.ghi.com and www.hipusa.com. Members of EmblemHealth-branded plans will continue to enjoy the features of www.emblemhealth.com with no changes.
All members who have registered for our self-service features will be able to take advantage of the site's helpful tools and resources to help them manage their plan and their health. Among the site's many capabilities, members can:
