NY State of Health Members: Paying Your Monthly Bill
Thanks for signing up for an EmblemHealth Select Care plan through the NY State of Health marketplace. You can pay your premium (monthly plan cost) from this page.
Important! January 2015 payments are due by January 10, 2015
Whether you are new to EmblemHealth or a returning member, you must pay your January 2015 premium by January 10, 2015 in order to have active health care coverage with EmblemHealth as of January 1, 2015.
If we don’t receive your premium by January 10, 2015, then:
- You will not be considered an active EmblemHealth plan member as of January 1, 2015,
- EmblemHealth will not cover its portion of any health care services you receive after December 31, 2014.
In January 2015, the payment process is different for new and returning EmblemHealth members, so please follow the right set of instructions below.
First-Time Enrollees for Coverage Effective January 2015:
You may have already received two types of notices about paying your January 2015 premium:
- The initial invoice email we sent you
- The bill we sent to your home
Haven’t received your email or bill yet? We may still be processing your transaction. This may take up to 48 hours from the time you submitted your application for your health plan.
|Note: You will need your member ID number to make your first payment. This number appears in the two notices we sent you (the email invoice and the mailed bill).||
Pay your premium online now. Follow the on-screen instructions to pay your January premium.
Members with Active Coverage in 2014:
Members NOT enrolled in EmblemHealth’s Auto Bill-Pay Program
Please pay your January 2015 premium on the EmblemHealth member portal. To do this:
- Either sign in to or register for your secure online member account, through the home page of emblemhealth.com.
- From the member portal home page, click “Pay Your Bill” under “Tools That Help You.”
- Read the notes under “Pay My Bill.”
- Click “One-Time Payment” under “Pay My Bill.”
|Don’t see an invoice for your January payment on the member portal?
Please allow 2 to 3 business days from the time you receive the invoice email about this payment for the invoice to appear on the portal.
Members who ARE enrolled in EmblemHealth’s Auto Bill-Pay Program
You do not need to make any changes. Your January 2015 premium will be handled through your auto bill-pay account.
|Important update! As of January 1, 2015, we will start withdrawing your new premium amount from the bank account you listed for us. Your new premium amount appears on the letter you should have received from the NY State of Health marketplace.
