Relaxation of Prior-Authorization and Rx Refill Requirements During the Storm and State of Emergency

Members may receive urgent care from participating and non - participating providers, as necessary. Limitations on prescription refills for persons needing to get prescriptions filled in advance of the storm or at non-participating pharmacies during the storm and the state of emergency, will have access to their medicines.

Providers are not required to request authorization to treat enrolled members for the provision of urgent services and to prescribe medications and will be reimbursed accordingly.

Members in need of urgent care should seek care from participating and non-participating providers.

If you have a prescription drug plan, members can get valid refills from any in-network pharmacy. Our network pharmacies will be able to assist in obtaining needed medications and refills.
