Christopher Peyron has spent more than 18 years working in the health care industry, including significant experience with labor and commercial groups in the New York Metropolitan and upstate regions.

At EmblemHealth, he has a proven track record working with brokerage firms, general agents and consulting companies. Christopher is EmblemHealth’s dedicated sales resource for collectively bargained multiemployer plans. He is uniquely qualified to help health and welfare funds find the right health care solutions in response to the issues and challenges of our current economy and the Affordable Care Act.

Christopher attends annual trade association events for the Teamsters, National Labor & Management Association and is an active member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP). For 15 years, he has been an active supporter of the Office & Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) Local 153 and has held numerous leadership positions.

Prior to joining EmblemHealth, Christopher was the top sales executive with Aetna in Long Island and Queens regions. He graduated from State University at Albany with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Shawn McLoughlin joined EmblemHealth in November 2010 from Segal Consulting, where he served as National Director of Sales and Marketing, supporting the labor, public sector and commercial markets.

As Director of Sales Operations, he is responsible for new business development, lead generation, association partnerships and proposals.

Shawn has 14 years of experience working with labor groups and has been an active member of various labor associations, including the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and National Labor Management. He frequently represents EmblemHealth at conferences and events as a sponsor, speaker or exhibitor.

In addition to managing sales operations activities for the labor market, Shawn supports initiatives in the higher education, not-for-profit and individual markets.

Shawn earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland.
