A Fall First: EmblemHealth's Fall Broker Seminar
On October 16, EmblemHealth hosted its first event that provides brokers and EmblemHealth leadership the opportunity to participate in face-to-face dialogue.
The event, "Fall Seminar: 2015 Product Preview and Reception,"was held at the Allegria Hotel, in Long Beach, Long Island. Among the hot topics covered at the event were:
Customer Service Improvements
The evening kicked off with a presentation by Suzanne Ronner, VP of Service Administration, on EmblemHealth’s customer service improvements. This year, we implemented a new Customer Relationship System (CRS) and trained almost 500 Customer Service Advocates in just two months. In October, we launched a dedicated Medicare Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system, which will soon expand to all lines of business.
EmblemHealth's Product Line
EmblemHealth's 2015 product line was unveiled by Paul Zurlo, Sr. Director, New Business Development and Sana Hashmi, Director Business Development. New additions to next year’s line-up include on- and off-exchange small group HMO plans, and Health Essentials Plus, a low-cost hospital plan for large groups.
