The shingles vaccination is excluded from medical benefits and covered under Medicare Part D for Medicare members. It is not covered under Medicare Part B. The shingles vaccination will only be covered if the member has a Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan.

The shingles vaccination is included in medical benefits and is covered for members over age 60 with GHI, HIP and EmblemHealth commercial products.
