EmblemHealth Care Fairs for Those Affected by Hurricane Sandy

To help our fellow New Yorkers impacted by Hurricane Sandy get back on their feet, we invite you and your clients to join EmblemHealth at our Care Fairs in Harlem and Cambria Heights, Queens. At the Care Fairs you and members of the community can donate relief supplies for residents hardest hit in New York City and Nassau County. We will coordinate our efforts with the NYPD Community Affairs Department and the 30th Precinct to arrange for the distribution of collected items to the areas where they are needed most.

Harlem Care Fair

When:    Friday, November 16th, 10 am to 6 pm
Where:   Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. State Office Plaza, 163 West 125th Street, Harlem

Cambria Heights Care Fair

When:    Saturday, November 17th, 10 am to 6 pm
Where:   206-20 Linden Blvd, Cambria Heights
(across from Queens Long Island Medical Group and EmblemHealth Neighborhood Care)

The Care Fairs will serve as central drop-off locations for anyone wishing to donate badly needed relief supplies, including:

  • Non-perishable food
  • Blankets
  • Bottled water
  • First aid kits, bandages, alcohol pads
  • Diapers
  • Cleaning supplies

EmblemHealth Neighborhood Care Openings Rescheduled

For the past few weeks, the EmblemHealth Neighborhood Care team has been working hard on Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. They are now focused on getting the EmblemHealth Neighborhood Care locations open as quickly as possible.

EmblemHealth Neighborhood Care — Harlem (at 163 West 125th Street) and EmblemHealth Neighborhood Care — Cambria Heights (at 206-20 Linden Boulevard) are opening soon.
