Coronavirus (COVID-19) update: Delivery options for member prescription medications

EmblemHealth knows your patients may have questions about coronavirus (COVID-19) and their prescription coverage. If your EmblemHealth patients are worried about having enough medicine on hand for their family and themselves, we have it covered.

We continue to share with our members important information about this outbreak. One way we have kept them informed is with a webpage containing the latest information from state and federal agencies. We also sent an email on Tuesday with some of the pharmacy information in this alert.

90-day supply delivery for your patients:

With Express Scripts (ESI), your patients can have up to a 90-day supply of their prescriptions for long-term medications (or maintenance drugs) mailed to their home. Your patients can always check their prescriptions online or talk to a pharmacist, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, if they have any prescription drug questions. For more about ESI and home delivery, click this link.

Same-day home delivery for your patients:

Our partner, Medly Pharmacy, offers in-home delivery—in some cases on the same day—for members in New York City, Long Island, and New Jersey. They offer service in a half-dozen languages, including Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Russian. You can prescribe directly through Medly Pharmacy at 718-782-7539 for New York and 908-725-0585 for New Jersey. You can call Medly direct at 646-650-2152.

Today, and every day, we want to make sure that your patients have the peace of mind and support they need. We offer the convenient options above in addition to our robust network of participating pharmacies.
