CPT 85025 Added to In-Office Lab List for Pediatricians

Effective December 26, 2013, pediatricians in our HIP, EmblemHealth CompreHealth EPO and Vytra plans can now perform CPT 85025 (complete blood count draw with differential white blood cells [WBC], automated) in an office setting (POS 11) when clinically appropriate.

This code is also approved for use by hematology/oncology specialists in an office setting when clinically appropriate.
