Codes That No Longer Require Preauthorization

As of April 1, 2022, certain speech therapy services no longer require preauthorization for EmblemHealth. See the table below for details.

Retroactive to Jan. 1, 2022, CPT Code 29806 for arthroscopy, shoulder, surgical, and capsulorrhaphy services does not require preauthorization for non-City of New York members. 

These changes have been incorporated into the EmblemHealth Preauthorization List.
