School-Based Health Center Services

The New York State Department of Health has delayed the implementation date for the transition of school-based health center services (SBHCs) into the MMC benefit package following the enactment of the State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2026 Budget. Services provided by SBHCs and SBHC-Ds to EmblemHealth -Medicaid members must continue to be billed to NYS Medicaid Fee-For-Service (FFS) until further notice.
