Effective Aug. 1, 2022, Participating Provider Agreements with HIP IPA will be assigned to Health Insurance Plan of Greater New York (“HIP”), an affiliate of HIP IPA (part of the EmblemHealth family of companies).
There will be no changes to Participating Provider Agreements with us nor to provider participation status. The assignment will not result in any impact to any terms or rates in Participating Provider Agreements; all terms will continue to remain in full force and effect with HIP as the contracting party. Claims should continue to be submitted to P.O. Box 2845. There will also be no impact on members, so providers should continue to care for your current members and accept new members.
