Effective Oct. 1, 2020, EmblemHealth will pay for only one of the following billing codes per date of service for authorized meal(s):

S5170 (home delivered prepared meals) with the appropriate modifier(s) (UF: Breakfast, UG: Lunch, and/or UH: Dinner) to indicate the meal type(s) delivered or
S9977 (meals per diem)

Please submit claims for Home delivered meals using the 837P transaction.
