Tax Credit
A form of financial assistance the US government provides to help people pay premiums, or the monthly costs of a health plan. To qualify for this help, a person must have an income between 100% and 400% of the Federal Poverty Level. The tax credit can be provided in one of two ways: either up front (as a lower premium) or later (as a refund at tax time).
Traditional Participation

Accepts all EmblemHealth fee schedules (M-2, Spectrum, Preferred)

Treatment Maximums

Maximum number of treatments or visits for certain conditions. Maximums for in-network and out-of-network services are combined. For example, if the plan has a limit of 30 visits on a covered expense, you would reach the limit if you had 17 visits in-network and 13 visits out-of-network.
