EmblemHealth, one of the nation's largest nonprofit health insurers, launched its Community Diabetes Wellness Program at its Neighborhood Care Fordham Road location in the Bronx with a free resource fair. The event featured a sampling of community services offered by EmblemHealth and other community-based organizations. The Community Diabetes Wellness Program provides a comprehensive approach to help keep people with prediabetes from progressing into diabetes and help those with diabetes to manage their chronic condition.
