EmblemHealth Healthier for the Holidays Fair Kicks-Off in the Bronx
As the holiday season is underway for many New York families, EmblemHealth works alongside local elected officials and community organizations, on Saturday, to kick off its series of Healthier for the Holidays Winter Wonderland events in the Bronx.

The Bronx, NY –As the holiday season is underway for many New York families, EmblemHealth, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit health insurers, working alongside local elected officials and community organizations, on Saturday kicked off its series of Healthier for the Holidays Winter Wonderland events in the Bronx. Hundreds of Bronx families were on hand to experience the festivities as dozens of children were given free toys in the holiday spirit of giving. Medly Pharmacy also administered Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters during the event.
“As families and communities come together this holiday season, everyone needs to stay safe and healthy while enjoying the festivities,” said Beth Leonard, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at EmblemHealth. “EmblemHealth’s holiday events are designed to help bring enjoyment and easy access of health care resources to the communities we serve.”
During Saturday’s event, EmblemHealth gave away more than 750 toys to children from the surrounding neighborhoods.
