All of the plans on the NY State of Health marketplace offer quality coverage for 10 essential health benefit categories, including doctor visits, hospitalization and prescription drugs.

When you sign up, you’ll get coverage for:

  • Preventive care to keep you healthy and well at no extra cost, as long as you see a health care provider in your plan’s network.
  • Pre-existing medical conditions, which are health conditions you already had before you got health insurance. Plus, you won’t pay any more in premiums than anyone else.
  • Extended coverage for dependents on a parent’s plan until age 26 (in New York they can stay on through age 29, for an added cost).
  • Adult dental and vison offered as part of the new Essential Plan benefits at no extra cost, if you qualify. Or you can get these benefits at a minimal cost, if you qualify.

EmblemHealth plans available through NY State of Health include benefits that help you stay healthy, get well and live better. To learn more about EmblemHealth’s plans visit, Health Care Reform Hub.
